I had not been eating well and needed to jump-start better-eating habits and really try to lose some weight. While I was working with Amy on the 5-day plant-based reset, I thought, why don't I do this? I enjoy eating plant-based so it was a perfect fit. A lot of work was put in by Amy from putting together a grocery list, to tweaking recipes to be more balanced in calories, fat, and carbs. The smoothies were yummy and super easy to whip up (I would take my supplements with my smoothies) and the meals took hardly any time to make and were delicious. I never felt hungry or deprived. I discovered that prior to the challenge, I was not eating ENOUGH! Having a food scale was a true eye-opener for that. My body needed more fuel since I have stepped up my training.
