GRANT

Strength Coach

Grant found his love for the weight room at a young age while playing baseball and football. That love inspired him to seek more knowledge on training and bring it to the athletes in his community. While playing baseball at Carthage College in Wisconsin, Grant received a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sports Science and a Master of Education in Sports and Leadership.

During his undergraduate studies, Grant worked with athletes from grade school all of the way up to the professional level. While pursuing his Masters, he birthed the strength program for Carthage College. Grant would eventually go on to complete an internship at the University of Connecticut underneath Matt Balis, and then became the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Oberlin and Notre Dame Colleges in Ohio.

While coaching at the college level, Grant competed in powerlifting and explored Olympic weightlifting, bodybuilding, and strongman. He realized that every strength sport had components that, when combined appropriately, prepared his athletes for peak performance and brought out the best in their character.

Grant also saw how important recovery was for his clients. Being a proponent of soft tissue work for several years, he became a Licensed Massage Therapist and received his certification from Florida Academy.

Whether one is interested in living a better quality life or seeking to be the best version of themselves as an athlete, Grant is prepared to help people from all walks of life pursue their individual goals.
